What’s Inside Beacon of Light?

Beacon of Light is designed to help you grow in wisdom, character, faith, and confidence through meaningful experiences and projects.
The journey is organized around four areas of growth, inspired by Luke 2:52:
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
There are also two additional gender-specific categories available. Within those four areas are individual project topics, giving families and groups a wide variety of ways to learn, create, serve, explore, and grow together. Together, these six areas encompass 48 unique projects, each offering a different opportunity to learn, grow, create, serve, and discover. Here’s a look at the full collection of projects included in the Beacon of Light journey:

More Than a List of Activities
Each project goes beyond simply checking an activity off a list.
Projects include Scripture and meaningful quotes, questions for reflection, skills to develop, and hands-on project ideas that encourage young people to put what they are learning into practice.
The goal isn't to create another list of things kids have to accomplish. It's to give them opportunities to discover what they're capable of, develop useful skills, strengthen their faith, and become the kind of person they want to be.
